The Rutland City Police Commission Neighborhood meeting is scheduled for Monday March 12, 2012 from 6- 8pm at the North West Elementary School on Pierpoint Ave. This is the forum and opportunity for residents to ask questions regarding the Commission, the Police Department and Public Safety concerns. , 03/12/12

The key to success is communication and coordination. That's why neighborhood and city-wide meetings will be focused on solution-oriented discussion. Neighborhood meetings are key to grassroots participation, and work best when they are:

• Purposeful enough to educate
• Inspiring enough to motivate
• Long enough to deliberate

04/25/12 - North East Neighborhood Watch Monthly meeting of residents and Police to discuss crime and drug issues in the neighborhood. 6-8pm at the Godnick Center on Deer St

05/05/12 - Green Up Day This annual event to rid the streets of Rutland from debris will once again take place on the first Saturday in May. More details to follow. If you are interested in participating please contact the office at 770-5364

05/23/12 - North East Neighborhood Watch Monthly meeting of residents and Police to discuss crime and drugs in the neighborhood. 6-8pm at the Godnick Center on Deer St.

06/11/12 - North East Neighborhood Police Commission meeting The Rutland City Police Commission will be held on Monday June 11th at 6pm at the Godnick Center on Deer St. This is the venue and the opportunity for residents to ask questions of the Commission regarding the Rutland City Police Department, Crime, Drugs and Public safety concerns.
